Ayurvedic haircare brand Indulekha has expanded its portfolio with the launch of two new scalp serums, its ‘Bringha Hair Growth Treatment Scalp Serum’ and ‘Svetakutaja Dandruff Treatment Scalp Serum’. The new premium range marks a strategic shift for the brand, moving beyond oil-based care into clinically validated Ayurvedic formulations aimed at addressing hair fall and dandruff with greater precision.

“While Indulekha Oil continues to be trusted by millions, the idea behind this launch was to expand our offering by entering the scalp serum category,” said Hindustan Unilever Limited’s vice president of hair care Sairam Subramanian in a press release. “With this launch, our vision is to evolve into an expert scalp care brand- one that seamlessly blends the time-tested efficacy of Ayurvedic science with a contemporary format focused on efficacy, sensorial experience, and everyday ease of use.”
The Bringha serum is co-developed with Ayurvedic experts and claims to grow 11,000 new hairs in three months, as validated by a 2024 clinical study. It contains 4.6% Bringha + Complex and targets hair thinning through a combination of herbs processed using traditional Ayurvedic methods.
The Svetakutaja serum treats recurring dandruff in two weeks, according to a 2023 study, and contains a 1.7% Svetakutaja + Complex with ingredients such as lemongrass, neem, and amla. Both products are now available on multi-brand e-commerce platforms Amazon, Myntra, and Nykaa.
