Popees Baby Care has opened its 95th store near the LIC Office in Kalpetta, located in Kerala’s Wayanad district, further expanding its domestic retail footprint while eyeing further Gulf expansion. The store was inaugurated by Kalpetta Municipal Chairman T J Isaac in the presence of Popees officials and local dignitaries.

The business’ recent international expansion includes the opening of two stores in the UAE last month, Popees Baby Care announced in a press release. Popees plans to launch around ten showrooms in Dubai this year, with further expansion into Gulf Cooperation Council markets such as Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar.
The brand also operates a showroom and office in the UK and has outlined plans to enter the Australian market in 2025. With its sights set on global growth, Popees aims to continue to build on its two-decade legacy as a baby care brand, scaling its international presence while deepening its reach across India’s non-metro locations.
Founded in 2003, Popees Baby Care has established itself in the children’s apparel and essentials market, with a manufacturing capacity of 5 lakh garments per month and a workforce of over 2,000 employees. The brand’s product range spans baby clothing, diapers, skincare, maternity items, and toys, aimed at providing comfort, safety, and care for both children and mothers.
