German textile machinery manufacturer Brückner has established a new subsidiary in India, Brückner Textile India Pvt. Ltd., marking a strategic move to deepen its presence in one of the world’s fastest growing textile markets. The launch reflects the company’s long-term commitment to India and forms part of its broader global expansion strategy.

“We could never have wished for a better partner,” said Regina Brückner, owner and CEO of the Brückner Group, the business announced in a news post on its website. “The very important support that we received from Universal over nearly 20 years has assisted our successful growth. Now, with the demand for domestic textiles and the pace of innovation in India, we too can be close to our customers.”
Brückner had previously operated in the country through a collaboration with Universal MEP Projects & Engineering Services Ltd. (formerly Voltas) since 2007. Over nearly two decades, this partnership has played a key role in building Brückner’s brand recognition and customer base across India, according to the business.
With the launch of its Indian subsidiary, Brückner aims to deliver more responsive customer service, strengthen client relationships, and engage more directly with the domestic textile industry, Apparel Resources India reported. The new entity is designed to enable the company to address the evolving needs of Indian manufacturers more effectively, while reinforcing its role in the region’s growing textile machinery sector.
